manufactured by HP, then the model number is the one
listed in the HP corporate price list. If possible,
encode the model number in a symbol set (like Roman-8)
that matches the ASCII character set and limit the
characters used to ASCII characters.

The model number is obtained from the disk
using the IDE (Intelligent Drive Electronics)
Identify command. This objects is only supported
if a disk is installed. Returns
<noSuchName> status if attempting
to perform a Get on this OID with no disk installed.
Returns <noSuchName>
status if attempting to perform a Set, EnableTrap, or
