An SMDS SS supports up to n group addresses. A group address can be identified by up to p individual addresses. A particular SNI is identified by up to 48 group addresses. The initial values of m, n, and p are defined as 128, 1024, and 32, respectively. In the future values of m and n of 2048 and 8192, respectively, may be supported.
