Maximum expected differential delay in milliseconds where 0 (zero) implies largest possible value for channel capacity and service type. If measured differential delay is above this, hitless protected status can not be guaranteed. Maximum assignable value is bit rate and service type dependent. The higher the bit rate, the lower the value. For largest bit rate however, up to 100 ms is guaranteed to work for all service types. Note also that the larger the value, the greater the latency. Therefore, for latency sensitive signals as small non-zero value as possible shall be used.
