The number of RIP packets received on the link which
were discarded because of RIP version errors.
This indicates a RIP configuration error on the link
or the link of the router from which the RIP packet
was received. The error occurs when receiving a RIP
packet with a version different from the version configured
on the link. The error also occurs if a RIP packet
is received and the link is configured not to use RIP.
