This attribute indicates the maximum number of route descriptors
supported by this implementation. The maximum number of hops will
be one less because one route descriptor is always required for the
destination. This attribute affects the amount of memory used by the
route entry table. The larger this attribute is, the more memory the route
entry table will use.
