This attribute is migrated to the Lp/n Eng Arc Ov attribute
txCellMemoryAllocation. It is converted from frame percentage to
cell percentage by subtracting this value from 100.
This attribute specifies the percentage of the transmit CQM memory
which should be allocated to the transmit frame free list on the
ATM-FP. The remaining transmit CQM memory is allocated to the
transmit cell free list. Frame memory is used for trunks, ATM VCC
testing and for inter-card communication. There is an absolute
minimum quantity of frame buffers which is required by ATM
software on the FP. If the value of this attribute is smaller than the
absolute minimum, the ATM software will allocate the minimum
required, rather than the actual number requested.
The actual percentage of the transmit CQM memory allocated to the
transmit frame free list is indicated by the Aru
txFrameMemoryAllocation attribute. A difference between the
provisioned and the operational values may exist due to the
requirement for a minimum number of frame buffers or rounding
during computation within the FP.
