vsFramerIngressAudioGain 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.80.2.12.1.18

This attribute specifies the gain in dB that is applied to data coming from outside the network before it is transferred across the network. It applies to voice, modem and fax traffic. For example, ingress gain is applied to audio data coming from a PBX. If ingressAudioGain is negative, a loss is applied. If this voice service is running on a DS1V, E1V, 1pDS1V, 1pE1V or J2MV card, ingressAudioGain must be set to 0. If this voice service is running on any other cardtype, ingressAudioGain can be set to any integral value from -12 to +12. ingressAudioGain and egressAudioGain are used in loss planning, which is the configuration of the devices in the network to ensure that the signal level from any point in the network to any other point is correct.
