mscAtmIfTxCellMemoryThresholdTable
1.3.6.1.4.1.562.36.2.1.114.441
This attribute is only valid for AtmIf's on ATM IP FPs. It is not
displayed for AtmIf's on other card types.
This attribute indicates the transmit cell memory size and three
discard thresholds for this AtmIf. Transmit cell memory is used for
storing ATM cells to be transmitted by connections under this
AtmIf.
The first value indicates the the total transmit cell memory size.
This is derived based upon the txCellMemoryThreshold 0 attribute
of the Lp/x eng arc aqm/0 component and Lp/x eng arc aqm/0 Ov,
and on the txCellMemory attribute of this AtmIf.
When the txCellMemoryAvailable attribute decreases to the second
value, the txCellMemoryCongestionState changes from 3 to 2. In
congestion state 2, traffic with discard priority (DP) > 2 is
discarded. This threshold is set approximately at 25 percent of the
first value, the transmit cell memory size.
When the txCellMemoryAvailable attribute decreases to the third
value, the txCellMemoryCongestionState changes from 2 to 1. In
congestion state 1, traffic with discard priority (DP) > 1 is
discarded. This threshold is set approximately at 20 percent of the
first value, the transmit cell memory size.
When the txCellMemoryAvailable attribute decreases to the fourth
value, the txCellMemoryCongestionState changes from 1 to 0. In
congestion state 0, traffic with discard priority (DP) > 0 is
discarded. This threshold is set approximately at 10 percent of the
first value, the transmit cell memory size.
The opposite effect occurs when the txCellMemoryAvailable
attribute increases (txCellMemoryCongestionState changes from 0
to 3 accordingly).
