The state of the connection. Truely connection oriented
protocols like tcp have states like 'Listening, Connecting,
etc., while connectionless protocols like udp and icmp are
modeled as having connection state of 'OneWay' or 'TwoWay'
where 'OneWay' means that one packet has been seen, and
'TwoWay' means that at least one response packet has also
been seen.
