This object specifies the Ethernet encapsulation transform type used within the BSS. The encapsulations allowed are either IEEE 802.1H type or RFC-1042 type. IEEE 802.1H designates the Subnetwork Access Protocol (SNAP) mechanism as the Ethernet encapsulation protocol. Subsequently, other (non-IP) uses of the RFC-1042 mechanism. RFC-1042 specifies a translation for Ethernet frames, such that they can be exchanged with end stations on LANs that do not provide an Ethernet service. encap802dot1H(1) - IEEE 802.1H SNAP encapsulation encapRfc1042(2) - RFC-1042 encapsulation. The default encapsulation type is encap802dot1H(1).
